Tough market??? How to beat it or at least last.

Yes its tough, some are lucky and some of the best agents are ready to pack their bags.  Hang in there and keep working. You will see the light. Try Try, call, follow up and be persistant.

You must also be creative and think out side the box to sell properties. Give bonuses to other agents, that helps sell the property and helps other Realtors make more money.

Be nice to each other ,*** even with the low ball offers*** Its usually the clients, not the Realtors.

We work twice as hard to make half as much , so dont discount yourself or your COMMISH.

Add staging and other services, You better have enhanced on Realtor.com, its worth it.

If a seller or buyer is making you crazy and is just wasting your time,  cut them loose.  Refer them to another agent and at least help everyone out.  25-30% and a lot of time to work on other deals is better then nothing. Plus you helped out another agent and your past client.

If your ready to hang your hat, negotiate with your broker for a free month or??? to give one last shot.

Do more charity work, 1st its good to do, it will re motivate you and you may pick up business.

Do night time open houses or something different.

Send email to all in your office to Refer you the clients they are ready to give up on.  Sometimes a fresh angle may do it. You all win...

Talk positive about the market-POSITIVE    think and act it...   ITS much better then NEGATIVE.

Dress sharper, get that hair cut, do your nails........ present a better image, take new pics for marketing.

Good luck

I agree with you. Here is a good one ask REO agents if you can do open houses for them. It is a good way to get buyers and promote their listings a win-win
