New York Feng Shui Consultations....Long Distance Feng Shui by Feng Shui Long Island & New York City

By
Home Stager with Feng Shui Manhattan Long Island #888

In Feng Shui, we evaluate a home or a business from many different aspects.  We want to see if it will support a client, if there are any particular issues with the home that might interfere with important principles of Feng Shui, if our clients will grow and thrive in a particular place.

Although I live in New York, I often do long distance Feng Shui Consultations.  Many consultants offer them but I am particular in how I address them.  I don't just want a floor plan which will give me very limited information, I want it ALL.  I need to FEEL that I'm right there, in a clients space where I can actually feel the energy and SEE placements, colors and elements.

I had done this consultation a few months back and was excited to get these pictures.  Some I have scanned and others I can explain.  I felt immediately that this home that my client had chose already had Feng Shui Principles in place.  And these few shots give you just an idea on how I believe that almost ANY home or business can support you....with some changes.

As some of you know, it isn't auspicious in Feng Shui to see the stairs as soon as you enter.  This home had stairs just past the front door but in reverse---instead of going in and UP you went around and up...see the photo?  Which left as an entrance a slanted wall...not the best Feng Shui.

The stairs upon entering...

Apparently the former occupants knew this, they had these "walls" built in front of it so this is what you see when you walk in.  The stairs and downward slant are deflected and this wall was lovely for decorating.

*Wavy lines indicate the Element of Water, well aspected for the front door.

Also by the front door we found a definite "Water" element....Wavy Lines.  Water at the FRONT indicates the good and auspicious energy will enter.  I don't believe for a second this "wave" was an accident.  This was also at the entrance to a room my client decided to use as her Home-Office.

Another attraction to this lovely home that I saw was that the Wealth Corner in the backyard had been raised.....I have seen clients PROSPER when there is a higher, raised area in Wealth.  Opportunities abound for becoming more prosperous.

It was interesting to me that she chose this home, although there were several just like it at a lower price, this is the one she "fell" for.  And she's doing VERY well there, including starting a new business which took off! Feng Shui Distance consultations work with extra time and energy-and a lovely home with Feng Shui Principles in Florida with some assistance from a New York City Feng Shui Consultant.

Glad to hear Carole that long distance Feng Shui isn't as difficult as it may seem. My office is in an "A" frame type building. Short walls, very high ceilings; lots of wood, no back windows. We may be moving at the end of summer. I've thought numerous times of your services. If we decide to stay where we are, we'll certainly have to talk! <G>

This house doesn't appeal to me in the least.  LOL  I must be the odd man out.  The only saving grace would be that "wave" wall, I guess.  Otherwise it appears to have a very strange layout.  But I'm sure you worked your magic.  You always do - and very well!

Carole- This is so interesting that you can do long distance consultations, with video and photos I think you can really get the feel of the house.

Carole,

This house is very unique and it's interesting to see that it was likely 'feng shuied' by the previous owner to overcome some negative features. I believe that all builders should have a feng shui consultant working alongside them as they design the homes they are building. So many are built in ways that are not conducive to the free flow of positive energy and since buyers choose their homes based on how they 'feel', building a house that follows feng shui principles would go a long way towards a quick sale and net them the highest sale price at the same time.

Interesting photos....thanks for sharing them. It's wonderful that you are able to do your business from a distance and more people would be taking advantage of your services, I believe, if they knew this was possible.

Fred, I wish it were that easy.  I need a clear picture of the home to evaluate it....and many photos :)

Debbie, You're welcome to call anytime, there are always adjustments we can make from a Western viewpoint that are not expensive but absolutely help.

Duane, I did too....it is a defiinite Water symbol and we both believe it was used there with Intention.

Sally, That had to have been specially done to add Water to the entrance.  And hiding the stairs so they are not visible.  She chose a fortunate home (and is doing so well!)

Carol, It was actually very pretty...I didn't want to show all of her space but the layout was nice and it was very open.

Katerina, You absolutely can and it's vital for colors and placement to have many photos....so my distance cllients have to work as hard as I do to get the best results.  I can't get enough from a floor plan...

Kris, I know---I feel very fortunate every day to be able to do something I love.

Jo, The features that were added to this house made us both believe they had used Feng Shui....I too believe builders should have some idea of Feng Shui, some problematic things like staircases that relate to health can be changed.....one day they will "get it."

Melissa, That is so sweet, thank you!  i am trying to make a somewhat complicated subject uncomplicated--so I'm happy if people learn a little and use it a litte.

I'm still trying to clean up my work space (because you told me to!).  If I sent a picture of it to you, I'd have to send the paramedics to come revive you after you faint :)

How very cool that you can take photos and still understand what a space needs to be the best it can be, Carole!

Fred, You are too funny....actually I would wait until after to eat the chocolates and it's not a bad idea :)!

Duane, I didn't know you were a previous builder!  I believe the prior owner had these things added, they were not in the other house and were all good things to add from a Feng Shui Perspective.  (And now I have to wonder why you're not building.....)

Carole, thanks to our wonderful economy I was "forced" into an early retirement from building. My father started the company in 1960 and I took over in 1978, so we had a long run.

Duane, I'm sorry to hear that...it was a family business (and I had one myself that I had to give up).  I know, though, that you love what you do and you would be a wonderful asset in anything to do with real estate!!
