It's a wrap... ! As is company tradition, we assembled this week to reflect on last year's business accomplishments. This year's theme was fitting: Regroup, Refocus & Recharge. And we did so Zoom-style for obvious reasons.
While it would be easy to focus on the challenges that we all dealt with during 2020, there were far too many successes to fall into that "rabbit hole"...
Miranda Real Estate Group can now say that it has helped over 10,000 homes change ownership and passed the related $2 billion sales mark! WOW!
Miranda Real Estate Group remains the #1 Independent brokerage in the Capital Region.
Miranda Real Estate Group continued it's support of Albany Medical Center's Children's Hospital and contributed another $10k to this special cause (not bad since we couldn't host the annual golf tournament!).
Personally, after being afraid that I'd never sell another house again when the stay-home initiative hit us in March, I adjusted and ended up having a RECORD YEAR! This production put me in the 2nd spot within the company in sales volume. My brother - in true brother fashion - calls this "the best loser". LOL!
On a related note, "my 2020 numbers" made me the #1 agent in Scotia-Glenville!
I also received a nomination for Best Team Player & am grateful for that.
And finally, I received the Quantum Leap Award... Recognition for my year-over-year business growth.
Sales is funny... It's common to routinely market the results of our efforts. I guess it gives us credibility. It does to some degree but, after 11+ years in the business, I still feel funny doing it. But the "hardware" didn't reflect the best award of all.
What is the BEST reflection of my success??? The number of people of who have asked me to help them again. The number of people who tell their family & friends that they should call me to help their real estate goal become reality.
SO... 2020 is a wrap & I'm grateful to our company leadership & support staff, my current & past clients, & definitely my family whose support keeps me going. I look forward to the year ahead & know that whatever challenges are delivered, there's always something positive to find.
