The Camas, WA real estate market closed out the year with frenzy-level sales activity, fueled by low interest rates and a backlog of buyers. Less homes hit the market when compared to the previous quarter, but the average price for pending and sold homes continued to drive higher. This pricing trend should continue into 2021 as more home buyers enter the market after the holiday season.

These numbers represent the number of New Listings, Pending, Sold and Off Market Homes and compares those between the month of November 2020 and December 2020.

 

Surprisingly we saw an increase in new listings over the past 30 days in the Camas real estate market. While sales activity was down as expected over the holiday season, prices continued to rise due to the high buyer demand and lack of inventory.

These numbers represent the pricing data for Camas, WA homes for the December 2020 time period in comparison to November 2020.

 

When comparing December to November 2020, the number of sold homes was down 22.3% for the month, which is expected over the winter months, but average sales price continues to drive higher with a 9.2% increase.

 

Six-month Comparison

These numbers represent the pricing data for Camas, WA for the current quarter and compares those against the previous quarter. This allows us to see the pricing trend over a longer period.

 

Quarterly activity for new listings, pending and sold homes saw the typical drop over the winter months and holiday season, however, prices on sold homes continued to rise. With an average price on sold listings increasing by 7.8% from the previous quarter, we see that the Camas WA real estate market continues to be driven by high buyer demand and low inventory. 

 

 

With only 1 month of inventory the Camas, WA real estate market continues to be in a frenzy and it doesn't show any signs of slowing.
