The Lack of Curb Appeal When Selling Your Long Island Home

Good morning, Sheila and Larry. Curb appeal is so important. I've had clients who've refused to get out of the car and go into a house because of the lack of curb appeal.

These are all mistakes sellers should not make! And I had the same experience as Nina Hollander - buyers who said, "Nope, let's go to the next one." 

All so very important to selling a home.  Recently, we had a home next door to a listing that needed their yard mowed.  We offered to pay to have it done, but the homeowner went right outside, mowed and did some pruning.  It made a huge difference for less than two hours of work.  It all matters.

Hi Hannah Williams - Sellers are shooting themselves in the foot when they don't follow through and take care of their own curb appeal. Selling a home is a big deal and this is sage advice! There's nothing more frustrating than to learn the buyer decided to drive by first; then decided to cancel the appointment.
