You are creative.  I have never heard the term "methy" before and yes, it's time to move if the neighborhood turns "methy."  We will be selling our home in about two years, not because it is methy here, but because it is getting close to retirement age.

It can surely happen.  When I was a young bride we moved into a great little neighborhood.  However, redevelopment in one area of Sacramento, found many folks of questionable behavior moving to our community.  I witnessed it almost being turned into a ghetto in 3 years.  It can be sad when it happens!
