Such a simple thing!  It irritates me when I go in a vacant house and I hear the beep beep beep of a dying smoke detector battery. That tells me no one is checkingon the house!

Great reminder!  I just sold a listing that had a chorus of chirping, it was a vacant foreign national seller.  The buyer brought his ladder meeting me with the keys!  My ladder wasn't tall enough or I'd have changed them all for him!
