Brian England - I don't know how Debe Maxwell, CRS does all the things she does. It's as if she's cloned to show up and be there every single time someone reaches out to her. She is phenomenal! I don't think that woman's bones are ever rattled!

Kat Palmiotti - Conversing with you via ActiveRain through blog posts continues to be positive. I'm glad I had the good fortune to vicariously connect with you on your Appalachian Trail tales! Ever since I lived in Maine, it was my dream to hike the Appalachian Trails from Maine to GA. Unfortunately, that dream never became fulfilled. Family and work duty was always calling, pulling me in other directions. My children and work took precedence.

Oh, how I enjoyed reading your posts when you lived in NY! Reading your stories, sharing the journal notes, gave me pause on hectic days to relive my own fond memories of solo hiking to some of the highest peaks in New Hampshire on my days off from work while my kids were on those Trails, camping with Counselors.

Once I discovered Glacier National Park, I was hooked, just like you! We discovered we had another ambitious goal – Montana! Meeting up in Flathead was to be fulfilled. Spending days with you at conference, Glacier National Park, having meals at one of my favorite restaurants in Montana, tasting your delicious homemade flat bread pizza, breaking bread and drinking wine, in your kitchen was such a gift. I never would have guessed, I would share my last great, supper with you. Our conversations were fulfilling! The cold rain and wind that day at Glacier did not dampen my spirits at all.

Your friendship was warm. Kat, I know firsthand, all the things you do for others comes straight from your heart. To date, you're the only person I met in person who ever made me feel so welcomed into their home State, temporary housing, and the land you bought to build your beautiful home. I can still see you standing on the foundation as you stood there with open arms, showing me your imaginary front door, while walking and talking me through your invisible rooms, pointing out features, fireplace, doors and windows too! Eventually, your dream home came to fruition! The builder was great. You were greater. It was fun to watch you paint a beautiful homestead in my mind. I will never forget how happy you were and the way you made me feel. I know the bonds of our friendship are as strong as all those gorgeous trees that surround you.

Kat, may your Montana skies always open up wide and wonderful opportunities to you for growth and success and may you continue to grow mighty strong and stable while selling the land you love to others too. In two short years, you accomplished more than most in a lifetime!

For you, I am very, very grateful.

Debe Maxwell, CRS - you’re the best and you’re REAL! Thank you for taking my call so quickly while pressure was mounting on my end to make the class. I’m discovering, being forced to learn technology when you’re on lock down and there is no tech living inside your home, and making an appointment with Geek Squad impossible and takes too long is very stressful! It is like juggling kids, waiting for water to boil when you’re in a hurry, rushing out the door with two shoes and stockings that match, and waiting for the right city bus to take you to the Subway, the El Train, and then walk FOREVER to find the building you're looking for on a cold and blustery day in Downtown, Chicago. Anyone who has been to NAR in Chicago can understand what life was like for me when I lived and worked in Chicago. Perhaps, stress is all relative to what you know and experience in life!

I always want to show up on time for events I make a commitment for and yes, Leigh Brown is truly, the best instructor. Thank you, for picking up your phone! As for education, I never had anyone teach a class where you can laugh and learn so much at the same time! By the same token, I never knew there were people like you on ActiveRain who are so supportive and genuinely care, until I actually met you. Meeting you in person, sitting next to you conversing, solidified you were someone I could trust. Trust, is in my opinion, one of the greatest virtues on earth.

Meeting you, Jeff Dowler, CRS, and other CRS’ was truly an honor and a privilege. I never wanted that evening to end. Life is like lollipops and rainbows. When you can find the sweetness in people (and not suckers who con you into spending money at conference when you get nothing in return) you know there is hope and great wisdom listening to people in person.

Life is short. In this chaotic world we are now living in, it’s good to know there are beautiful people like you and Kat Palmiotti, who really, really cares. You both make life less stressful and better. Virtue and trust in people are the essence of wisdom and educational growth. All else is folly. Today, raindrops of wisdom keep falling on head, thanks to people like both of you!

Friendship like yours is worth more than money spent on material things. Thank you!
