Good morning, Sam... I see a number of these myself, quite frequently, such as #1, 3, 6... but more often than not these are due to the fact that these items were not code at the time a home was built and a seller has no obligation in our area to bring them up to code. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors have been code here for quite a while now, so it's rare that they are missing in a home. What I do see a lot of is "bulbs on light fixture(s) are not working... have an electrician check." (Never could understand why listing agents don't remind their clients to replace all bulbs at time of listing or at least in time for an inspection.)
