When we can lean on and learn from each other, we all grow stronger. Now some choose not to join because they fear losing their advantage. Perhaps it is because they never knelt in the sand.

Good morning, Rocky... I've said for decades to my colleagues "ask me anything." I'm always happy to share and I've never worried about losing my own competitive advantage.... because there really is only one Nina Hollander. And an interesting thing I've learned over the years with sharing what I know, how I do things, etc. is that people like to ask, people listen, and then more people than not don't do anything... they decide it's too much work.

I learned that lesson as a child but with water from a stream.  My uncle showed me how to cup my hands together to get the most water from a scoop.  I use that method daily after brushing my teeth, haha.

What an awesome sand story.  I loved it and it rings so true.  Next beach trip I am going to have my grands try it.  Hope you have a wonderful day!

Great lesson, I will have to remember this. I love sharing and encouraging others, so it makes great sense, but the visual from the lesson I think I will share with some friends I have in an accountability group tomorrow.

I'm so glad that Kathy Streib featured your post in her "Ah-ha" moments for the week as I missed it. I love the story about the sand..will show that to my granddaughter and grandson..what a wonderful lesson!
