Life has certainly changed in the last 11 months in San Francisco as it has almost everywhere. Ingenuity and creativity are necessary as we move forward and San Francisco is not short of those traits.

For instance, take the Buena Vista, called the BV by those who love her and her long history here, the famous home of Irish Coffee here in The City. Usually full of people, shoulder to shoulder and not a spare inch to be had.

Now, since restaurants and bars have been closed, it looks quite a bit different

So---what do San Franciscans do when confronted with scenes like this one? We INNOVATE AND TAKE OUR IRISH COFFEE TO GO TO BE ENJOYED ELSEWHERE!

Ah yes, that was in 1952 at the The Buena Vista. The Buena Vista Café originally opened in 1916 and I've never called it the "BV" but I've had many breakfasts there and a few crab cakes & beers too 😉

Lottie Kendall - Funny that you ask about Flower Mound.... A lot of people are ordering food from local restaurants and the Town allowed the drivers to deliver alcohol too! I'm not a drinker but I couldn't imagine ordering a bottle of wine and show the kid behind the wheel (most likely not even 21 years old) my driver's license.
