This Week...Patience and Acceptance Required
This week I had to use my reserve of patience and acceptance. I usually have both of these in good supply however because I’ve had to draw on it as of late, I was concerned my supply may have been depleted.

I had waited for an appointment with a new doctor for over a month. Finally, on the date of my appointment, it had to be canceled because my doctor’s wife came down with the virus.

Of utmost importance...she is fine with no complications. However, because of his schedule, my appointment was pushed back by another month. That’s ok...nothing critical on my part.
And finally, this week, my appointment. I like him...he’s very patient and thorough. He asked me questions and listened to what I had to say.

The next step was offices two buildings away where I had an x-ray and bloodwork done. I dreaded what kind of wait I might have but as it turned out, the steps to maintain everyone’s safety and the staff’s courteousness were beyond expectations.
