Good morning Nina Hollander, I see an increase in the number of sales in the luxury homes in my area as well. I think one of the factors is that we have many who are moving to Central FL from the Northeast.
Those looking to buy or sell a luxury home in the Greater Charlotte area should call you for an outstanding home buying/selling experience.

Wayne Martin hi Wayne... I suspect the Chicago situation is being replicated all over the country in large cities.
Brad Thomsen good morning again, Brad... our luxury market was moribund for a long time after the Great Recession... good to see it so strong now.

Beth Atalay good morning, Beth... as we see people abandoning large cities all around the country, I suspect we'll be seeing more demand for high-end properties in markets like ours where luxury homes exist but are not our bread and butter in terms of total sales.
Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 thanks much, Sheila, for that endorsement. As I often tell people. I cut my teeth in real estate in NYC's luxury market.
The upper luxury market in our area is the segment with the most inventory. And, even at that, less than we've seen in prior years. In Clark County, California relo clients are most often the luxury home buyers for obvious reasons - our 2 million dollar home is quite different from what their used to seeing.

Nina,
Our clients are reporting the same trend in luxury. One of our clients just sold a $14 million dollar home, as the sellers were downsizing. She also sold them a $3million dollar condo...A

Nina, love reading market updates, and especially the luxury sector, from other parts of our country. Valuable report to those buyers and sellers contemplating a move.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD hi Debb... it doesn't seem that long ago that our luxury market had 24 months of inventory and now it's down to 2.5 months. Hard to wrap one's mind around such a sea change.
Ron and Alexandra Seigel hi Alexandra... $14 million homes and $3 million condos are not something we see here in the Charlotte area... but the trends are the same.
Roy Kelley thanks, Roy, for stopping by. Trust your week has gotten off to a good start... mine less so... our neighborhood lost power this morning around 11am and it just came back on half an hour ago. Really put me behind.
Your market report that even with less inventory to push prices are higher and DOM on market is less. Th luxury home market of Charlotte is also a seller's market.

Ed Silva hi Ed... it wasn't that long ago that our luxury market was a buyer's market... not any more!
Joan Cox hi Joan... one thing I've noticed is that no matter how much one might blog about market conditions, people talk to me about headlines they see in their newspapers.

Everything is looking up except the inventory in your luxury Market update and there is nothing we can do about it Nina Hollander
I hope you have a great week 😀

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS good morning, Paul... you're right about that... we can keep encouraging home owners who are thinking about selling to list their homes sooner rather than later... but at the end of the day, we can only "drum up" so much inventory. People sell when they are ready to do so.
Good morning Nina. Your photo defines luxury. Suburban Chicago luxury above a million is on fire. Unfortunately the downtown properies over a million are in the tank and sinking. Enjoy your day.
