When people find out where I live, the first question I get is this. Is On Top of the World a gated community?
Some folks find it strange to live in a gated community. I was one of them before but feelings changed soon after my wife and I moved into On Top of the World.

So, Is On Top Of The World A Gated Community?
The answer is … yes! I see no reason why that is a problem. As a matter of fact, it’s one of the best features of On Top of the World. As a vibrant community for retirees, safety is guaranteed.
On Top of the World is a luxurious community that’s gated. What that means is access to the roads inside the community is very limited to residents only. Houseguests would have to be cleared off at the gate to be able to enter the community. That’s a pretty good safety measure in place.
Since there aren’t plenty of cars on the road inside the community, we can just use our golf carts to get around. It’s pretty safe.
Fun Activities For Active Adults
If you love living with nature, frolicking through the park every morning with your dog, or taking long walks every evening, then On Top of the World is the perfect active adult community for you.
On Top of the World provides many opportunities for active adults to do things they wouldn't normally be able to do. For instance, residents may enjoy playing miniature golf, tennis, biking, pickleball, and swimming.
All of these activities can be done within the confines of the community in resort-like facilities.
On Top of the World is the perfect place to live. Take it from me because I live here with my lovely wife. We moved from New York. Although we did face a couple of challenges in choosing the right active adult community, everything turned out just fine. We chose On Top of the World and never regretted it for one moment.

Nothing Beats Having Some Peace Of Mind
Living in a gated community like On Top of the World gives me some peace of mind. I don’t have to worry about my wife’s safety if I have to leave for New York for a couple of days.
Aside from having some peace of mind, a gated community like On Top of the World is just minutes away from commercial areas in Ocala. My wife and I don’t have to go far to get our meds and other important stuff. On Top of the World is just a short bus, taxi, or car ride away from the central Florida area.
On Top of the World is like a luxurious resort that offers magnificent golf courses, swimming pools, spas, and health clubs. There are several restaurants in the Town Square.
