Hello Alexandra and Ron - when I went out a bit after 7 this morning, it was certainly chilly, a bit windy(though less than some days we have experienced this month) with a heaviness in the air but no precipitation although it's due to arrive tomorrow night.

We had our first rain here Monday since I arrived back in Arizona in October. Snow too for two days.  It has been very windy and dusty so hopefully it settles the dust. That is a great photo  you captured and a terrific quote.

Kat Palmiotti I know what you mean, and we do have our shares of fires.  We are glad that our hills were burned during the big fire, because native vegetation is back, and the native stuff is a fire retardant.  Some of the cities around here are stringent about not planting certain bushes or trees because they instantly go up in flames like certain varieties of eucalyptus..A
