We’re very fortunate here in South Central Missouri. We’ve had above normal amounts of rain for June and for the year. Yet, we have NOT had the flood damage seen in other parts of the state and the country.
Rivers, however, are running fast. They are high. They are muddy and murky.
My husband Ray is in the process of listing ten acres on the Niangua River, a short distance outside Bennett Spring State Park. On Friday, Ray walked the property, finding a path going down to the river. It’s hard to tell exactly what the shore line looks like – the water is up high.
We’ve been rain free for three days now; haven’t heard the weekly forecast yet. It will be interesting to see how this property looks as the water recedes.
