Playing in the Rain: Zooming with Anna Banana!Several years ago, I visited Miss Anna 'Banana' Kruchten in Phoenix before heading down to a baby shower in Safford, Arizona to meet our expectant daughter-in-law Devyn.She had just finished one of her meditative hikes up the canyon. It was as if we'd known one another a lifetime because of the virtual connection here at ActiveRain.Anna's PresentationThe subject for this week's Zoom Meeting, January 26,2021, Writing a Business Plan, well suited her. It was very informative, streamlined and captured my attention throughout.The following are important to master in order to be successful in business:
- Attitude - Positivity attracts
- Vision - Business plan
- Focus - Laser beam sharp
- Time - Make it count
- Energy - High energy gets more done
- Money - Takes an investment
- Confidence - Bring it!
- Grit - That and tenacity rules
- Humor - The ability to laugh is priceless!
What fills you spiritually: For me, spending time with family, gardening, writing and reading. A statement that rings true for all of us: If you want to be happy, no one can stop you!Some things that I have planned for 2021:
- Banner business year
- Gather often at the silo
- Girl day trip to hot springs
- Paint afternoon in back yard
- Travel to visit my loved ones
Marketing#1 Goal - Short term/long term#2 Create Plan - Can be simple or very detailed#3 Resources - Spend money to make more money#4 Timeline - Set the schedule and abide closely#5 Execute - Every single time to attract more businessCampaigns

- Holiday cards
- Newsletters
Prospecting - Building Relationships within circle of influence: Friends, family, neighbors, groups, networks, social media

- Create Plan

- Timeline
- Execute
- F.O.R.D.
- Do’s and Don’ts
Listen to them-Shhhhhh! I recently wrote a blog about this very subject.
- Ask how can you help them
- Make every conversation a Win-Win-Win
- No pushing, no sales presentations, just conversation
- Work 7 days a week to ensure them you are still the one
- Know, Like and Trust brings business now and for the future
Create a budget- think how you are investing.
- Day and weekly activities
- Gratitude list
- Blogging/ social media
- Important projects first
- Calls to A List
- Weekly coffees/ Lunch
- Personal notes
- Networking meetings
- Exercise
- Have fun!
Some things to do to improve business:
- Talk to 50 people a week
- Keep track of sales and listings
- Be relevant and current to your sphere!
Goal Setting Idea: Write a check out to yourself and put it somewhere until end of year and then review. Anna said everyone hit their goal or surpassed it! Try it and see.
It has been a lot of fun to see more people participating in the ActiveRain Zoom meetings and to see members in real-time. The hour is not recorded to encourage joining in on the presentations from industry professionals.
Please encourage others to the meetings that are scheduled every Tuesday at 2:00 pm Eastern time, 1:00 pm Central time, 12:00 Mountain time and 11:00 am Western time.
