Be Safe Showing or Viewing Homes in Silver Spring

Real Estate Agent with Remax Excellence - Silver Spring, MD Maryland #318884

We all realize that the Coronavirus is not going away any time soon. The best thing we can do is to ensure that we are as safe as possible while going about our regular lives. Whether you are a realtor who is showing a home or a home buyer who is viewing a property, here are a few things you can do to be safe:

  1. Always wear your mask. This is most important. Wear your mask over your entire mouth and nose.
  2. Wash your hands. This is the second most important tip. Wash your hands with soap and warm water thoroughly every time you leave your own home. If you are out and about, unable to wash your hands, keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you that you can use until you can wash your hands.
  3. Cold symptoms should be a cause to cancel. If the showing agent, homeowner, or client have any cold symptoms, reschedule your showing. It is better to be safe than sorry!

None of these tips take a rocket scientist to figure out. Regardless, they are very important. Be safe, be careful, be diligent.

As agents, we should put a small table at the front door of vacant homes with sanitizing wipes, booties, and hand sanitizer to aid in keeping ourselves and our clients safe.
