As the executor of his uncle's will, our next door neighbor asked us for a recommendation for an out-of-state agent to handle the sale of a home. We actually knew a REALTOR® who we used to work with and had moved to Tennessee, where the property was.
I was certain this agent would represent this clients’ interests like it was her own, and had no hesitation in calling her. I knew she would answer his calls, all his questions, and all his concerns. I knew she would be thoughtful during his time of healing and knew he could count on her to handle everything for him with extreme care.
The property was situated in her farm area, but was about 40 minutes from her home. She knew the area well, and she knew that the home needed some cosmetic work before it was going to be listed. Our neighbors Uncle accumulated lots of belongings that no one wanted and so she arranged to have it all removed. She even removed some of the clutter with her kids so she could move things along faster.

She recommended a local handyman to do some necessary repairs. She had the locksmith change the locks to make sure the property was secured. She had the utilities turned back on and made sure the home was heated so as not to have the pipes burst. She had a painter put a fresh coat of paint on, and had the carpets steamed clean. She frequently kept tabs on the home and made sure the necessary work was being performed in a timely manner.
Constantly taking updated photos, and emailing him often, she kept our neighbor in the loop throughout the entire transformation and then the entire transaction.
Sometimes satisfying a client needs isn’t as easy as it sounds. There are times that you have to go the extra mile just to make sure your client gets what they need. She went above and beyond what many other agents would not take the time to do. I'm so glad she was able to take care of all our neighbors' concerns and had the home sold quickly.
It's so nice when you know you have the right Professional to refer!
