Good morning Kathy. During my career I taught classes on many subjects but concentrated on contracts. I learned from the questions students asked. Sometimes I had to "circle back" but not nearly as often as some need to do today. Enjoy your day!

Hi Kathy... One cannot become a master of his/her craft without ongoing learning and preparation. Loved Peyton's quotes, as they apply to most anyone... not just football players.

There is always something new to learn in real estate and it is ever-changing.  I get a chuckle when I have to work with an agent that claims to know everything because they have been in real estate for over 40 years or whatever.  They usually don't know how things have changed since they haven't kept up.

Hello Kathy - lessons are learned in so many ways.  It's one of the things that still "surprises" me at times even though I am aware of it.  And it happens each day in some form or another. 

Sometimes subtly.  And sometimes like a ton of bricks(or maybe a tackled ball player to continue with the sports theme of your post).  

Love the Peyton quotes and your overview of his preparation and involvement in every part of the game. And yes, we should always be learning!

Hi Kathy,
You're talking about one of my favorite subjects... learning.  I was always amazed at the number of people in C.E. classes because their birthday was approaching and they NEEDED the credits for license renewal. I just love learning.  I think this is why I haven't gotten bored during the pandemic because there is always something to do and new to learn if you have nothing else to do. 

The Peyton Manning quote reminds me of a statistic I heard many years ago about the fear of public speaking. It is said many people fear public speaking ahead of death!  Can you imagine that?  I was afraid of public speaking too until I realized that when I was prepared it wasn't bad at all.  Preparation is the mother of self-confidence. 

All that said, it looked like Tampa Bay was more prepared than Kansas City yesterday. It was very disappointing. If it hadn't been for the food and friends the afternoon would have been a bust.  LOL

Good morning Kathy Streib you are so right. So many of the players are there for a paycheck and the spotlight time and could care less about learning the game.

Kathy that is a good observation.  The other thing that is becoming more and more noticeable is how selfish players are.

This is excellent advice to share.

No matter what you do...agent, lender, inspector, stager, teacher, banker, or parent...never stop learning about your craft or business.

I definitely find myself engrossed in real estate when I am not working.  When you find someone with an enthusiasm like that for what they do, it's hard to imitate.

Hi Kathy keep on learning!  This afternoon I've been working on a new CE class and there are finer details that I learned just working on the class.  It's fun.

I think it's important for learning to continue throughout our lifetime.  It's good for the healthy brain!

the last pro player I liked was Tim Tebow.  Still like him, but don't follow football any longer.  But the Daytona 500 is this weekend and baseball is just around the corner.

While I've already had my continuing education for this year, I've signed up for more lasses next week.  Most of the time I learn something new, even on an old subject.

The older I get the harder I find it to learn new things. I'm trying to keep my mind busy, but it isn't always easy!
