The Share the Love - February Active Rain Challenge offers an opportunity to highlight positive things that real estate professionals do.
In response to the challenge I want to highlight the efforts of a REALTOR in Southwest Florida who has invested countless hours in building a professional networking organization that brings together best of breed providers of various services in our community.
The GROW Business Network is a professional networking group where members educate each other about their services and trends within their industry. In addition the members proactively refer business to each other.
The network requires a lot of weekly coordination which demands a dedicated leader to make it all happen. John See (give him a follow on Active Rain) is a Realtor who has taken on this role. Under John's capable watch, the organization has expanded to seven chapters, even during this year of pandemic.
Not only has John been the beneficiary of several real estate listings as a result of his involvement with GROW, he has assembled a series of teams of outstanding providers who he can reliably introduce to his clients - thereby making him more than just another REALTOR.
Members of GROW actively invite guests, many of whom are new to our region or are unemployed and seeking to build new relationships. GROW members are very active in the community too, volunteering with nonprofits. Once per month, the GROW chapters converge for a lunch so they can break bread together and meet new people.
Perhaps the efforts of John See will inspire real estate professionals in other markets to establish similar mutually beneficial organizations.
