Congratulations to you.  The Pfizer plant is in CT and they can't get enough of the vaccine to treat the essential people

Hi Myrl- Congratulations!!!!  My hospital contacted me yesterday that I could get an appointment and I get my first shot in early March. 

Congrats!  Now you will live forever and be able to live without fear!  I hope that everyone that wants the vaccine will be able to receive it.

So happy for you, Myrl. I signed up as soon as they opened up times for everyone over 65 in NC, but still couldn't get onto the schedule until late April.

You are lucky. We have not yet been scheduled for the vaccinations.

Myrl, glad to hear, and hopefully will keep you safe now again this awful disease.

I hope you are feeling well today, Myrl. It is the day after the second dose that seems to cause some side effects for about 24 hours in some people. 

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat -- good for you.  You look great!  I have not been able to spend any time on AR in the last week so I am glad I got to see this post.  In fact, I am leaving in about an hour to get my first shot!   My neighbor who is a surgeon told me to take a couple of Tylenol before we leave for the long ride.  I will take his advice!

I am scheduled for my first shot tomorrow, weather permitting. We are supposed to have a snowstorm tonight and for the next couple days Myrl Jeffcoat 

Yea!!  So glad for you Myrl Jeffcoat !  I bet you feel a whole lot better knowing you've got some guarantee of being safer now.  We had the first shot on Monday and it was such an easy process as well with no side effects.

I'm happy for you. Bernie has his first - and his next is scheduled March. Mom and I are trying again on Sunday. It's really crazy too, the appointments fill within a matter of minutes after opening on Sunday at noon. 

I did receive my first shot yesterday and I am to receive my second shot in March, I had no side effects Myrl Jeffcoat 

Congrats on getting both of your shots!  That's got to be a good feeling for sure.

We got our first shots on Wednesday and hope to receive the next vaccinations on St. Patrick's Day. They are using Moderna in our area.

So happy that you were able to get the vaccine. Here, we continue to get the standard email for K saying how tough things are and only over 75. I am 74.5 and cannot get any appointments no matter what your health is.  I have been in touch with K and even sent Bill Dodd, my state senator, and email. There seems to be a disproportionate low supply of the vaccine for K. No one seems to know why nor care. I am certain they are trying but K with 6.5M patients here in CA, they should be making a bigger stink. Just my 2 cents. Hope all else is well, cheers cvc

Looks like you were one of the lucky ones. I have been trying to get appointments for my sister and brother-in-law in Florida for over a month now, and each time I have tried...they are fully booked!

So happy to read your update that you had minimal side effects. That is fantastic, Myrl! They haven't called my age group yet, nor hubby's but, we are still being ever-so careful.

I am about 1 month behind you.  We got our first shot on Feb 10th.  I am sure you are so relieved now that you are protected.  

Congratulations on receiving your second shot Myrl Jeffcoat !  My sister is a medical professional and she had her shot early.  She got really tired afterwards and had to rest.  I hope you are doing well after the shot.
