Chinese New Year 2021 - Year of the OX
Vegas Bob and family would like to wish everyone that celebrates "Chinese New Year" a wonderful many days ahead.
Chinese New is quite different than ours in America, with up to 16 days celebrated vs America's 1 day. Also Chinese can get up to 7 days off from work, so this gives them plenty of time to have fun.
Although I have never been to China I have been very close visiting Myanmar 5 times, Thailand, Singapore & Taiwan.

Hello Bob - while I have not visited during Lunar New Year, I have been fortunate to see a few Asian countries. I imagine the festivities would be much different than we experience during a typical December 31 or January 1 in this country but in Southern California with our diverse population we can often see many different cultures although the pandemic has changed that a lot.
I remember two distinct business trips to Venice Italy(as opposed to Venice California) during their Carnevale which is quite the memorable experience.
