Hi Joan... there seems to be no recruiting "season" at my end... brokers recruit all year long and hardly a week goes by that I don't have someone reaching out to me to talk to them.
I remember a friend was trying to recruit me to a brokerage that he began working at and he was touting the super low fees. When he told me what they were, I was in shock since they were at least twice what I was paying, haha.
The emails offering the world can get annoying. I made a move in October and it will be my last.
Hi Joan Cox - that is when I started my business, in 2009. Outstanding decision for me.
Michael, guess that is true, just seems I am getting more emails and calls.
Nina, that is probably true, just seemed like more are contacting me lately.
Brian England sounds like you should be recruiting your friend to YOUR company.

That is a great suggestion and we have a position open that is similar to the one he has at the other brokerage. I just messaged him!
Ed Silva hope it was a good move. I won't be going anywhere, except retiring in the next few years.
It is crucial for you to keep on recruiting when you are the owner my friend. I think there's a lot of Agents looking for a new home so you might have lots to choose from Joan Cox
Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS I have never desired having a bunch of agents, just one or maybe two.
I can see why. I left my first brokerage because my broker, that I had known for years, repeatedly called me by the wrong name. I laughed it off at first, but later found out he was playing favorites. I went on to another real estate office, where I felt respected. This would be far better with a small office, rather than a mega office Joan Cox (Just my 2 cents, not worth a plug nickle)
Hi Joan Cox - You are literally your own boss. What could be better than that? ! I would say that you made the right decision back in 2009.
Being the Lone Realtor has it's advantages but being on my own for over 17 years I do miss the camaraderie.
Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS that was exactly why Laura came to my small company, she knew she would get undivided attention and learn more. Never would I call her by the wrong name, how rude!
Charles, I am not alone, have a few broker-owner friends, and we all get together.
I get calls all the time, but when I ask them to match what my brokerage has done for me, they say thank you and move on. If I was in Denver, though, House to Home, Inc. would be high on my list. 🙂
That is sweet Raymond Henson, SRES, GRI ! I would never make another change, like it just the way it currently is!

Hello Joan - in my observation/experience it seems the time for agent recruiting is non-stop.
