One of the great historic treasures of New Orleans is back to full form...the streetcar line is now complete! Riders can now take the streetcar from Carrollton and Claiborne all the way down to Canal Street. I think that this is a very big deal. It is just another sense of normalcy that we have been able to reclaim in New Orleans since Katrina. Businessess along the newly reopened line should hopefully see a spike in business as more people will be coming through their areas.
On Saturday, June 28th there will be a number of events celebrating the return of the streetcars along the route. One such event has to do with New Orleans Real Estate! Local Realtors will be holding numerous open houses in the area. So if you are in the market or are simply curious take the streetcar and pop into a few of the houses for sale!
