Brian England , I liked this trail, and at this time of year, it is a pleasant walk, with a few jack rabbits nearby, and lots of birds. I like shorter tarils, so this worked very well.

Steffy, your hiking area is quite inviting, and think the Horny Todd Cafe would be a fun way to end a hike.

Hi Joan Cox , it took a while to really understand hiking in the desert, but now I love it and walk as much as I can, away from urban life. Yes, the cafe is quite popular with locals and with hikers, too. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Steffy Hristova - There is nothing like hiking in Arizona. I also have found that living at the 4500 ft level that visitors can get altitude sickness. They need to drink a lot of water. I recently forgot to tell someone that so I am making a mental note to remind others.

Hi Sheri Sperry - MCNE® , having a bottle of water handy is always a good practice in the desert, even more so if the altitude is 4500 ft. Is that Sedona's altitude?

Hello Steffy - more evidence that such "accidents" can prove quite pleasant.
