Business Tips and Observations

in 1962 I had my first venture into business. I leased a peach orchard for two years. Didn't have a clue... just grow em and sell em as the world beat a path to my door. Well I did make a little money so not a failure but I learned...and still am.

So with 60 years in different forms of business I find that there aren't a lot of good places to get advice. Your either being told to buy it now or else the information is the pablem that business schools put out which is about managing not owning or leading. There is a difference! I maintain one of the big disservices is American business hangs on quarterly reports. But the real goal should be out there 3, 5 or even 10 year. As a result we are today nervous about China who has mastered the long game, Japan did too and caught us at our own game.

So, I decided to do some short videos (all unde 3 min) with tips that a business person, owner or leader might find useful. Over the years I have heard it all at least twice. So Ill try to refine and reflect. Here is the first of several Ill be providing.     Hope you enjoy Video
