Norma J. Elkins Oh yes, the leg cramps! I feel your pain. I've not tried pickle juice but a tablespoon of mustard works too!

Sharon Tara I had no idea about the mustard, that is good to know

Hello Sharon, INteresting, I could see my 11 year old grand son egging his 9 year old brother to do this.

Sharon,

I had not heard that expression, maybe calling someone a pickle face with the same intent...Fun photo.  A

I like pickle juice but wouldn't drink that much.

Hi Sharon Tara, I don't think I'll be able to drink pickle juice.  Great message and a photo.

Sharon Tara I LOVE pickles, the more sour the better. The juice, not so much, and certainly not to make me green with envy. Lauren

Hi Sharon- cute picture, but my lips were puckering just at the thought of drinking pickle juice.

I have heard of many people who swear by pickle juice. Your grandson has the right idea with a straw Sharon Tara

Just reading this makes my tongue jump like I'm smelling pickle juice.

Hi Sharon,  Thanks for the great picture and quote.  When we were little kids, we pretended that pickle and olive juice were martinis, and we would drink them slowly.

Barbara Todaro  I do love that quote! I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you!

Will Hamm  It does seem like a brother dare type situation. But, Thomas totally did this on his own. I'm going to assume that his taste buds will change with age. LOL

Ron and Alexandra Seigel  I hadn't heard the quote either, prior to searching for one to use with the photo. I felt very lucky to have found one so perfect!

Sharon Lee  I love pickles, but have no interest in drinking the juice. Thomas didn't drink all of it, he only drank some of it.

Beth Atalay  Me either. There are supposed to be many health benefits from it though.

Lauren Williams, CPO, CVPO  I prefer a dill to a very sour pickle. But the juice....no thank you!

Anna Banana Kruchten CRS CRB, Phoenix Broker  HaHa! I think we all agree when it comes to drinking pickle juice. Maybe as children we may have thought differently though.

Pat Starnes-Front Gate Realty  There is a list of health benefits I almost shared with the post, but decided to keep it "wordless".  Maybe your brother knows exactly what he is doing.

Kathy Streib  I think we all agree with you. Thomas really did do this on his own though...and enjoyed it. I'm guessing his taste for pickle juice will fade with age.

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS  Supposedly lots of health benefits from drinking it. As for the straw....I agree. Probably helps reduce acid damage to teeth.

Chris Ann Cleland  Chris and her amazing jumping tongue! HaHa.

Bob Crane  That is hysterical! I remember mixing water and dirt and leaves in an old coffee pot and pretending it was coffee. My siblings and I didn't drink it, but we did try to convince other kids to drink it.

Haha - maybe in my preteen years that would have been a thing to do... I used to be crazy for dill pickles then.

Oh boy, that's a pucker shot for sure. Good for Thomas, not sure I'd give it a whirl, but I do like pickle juice sprinkled in salad greens. Smart kid to protect the enamel on his teeth by using a straw. Maybe he's also a fan of Apple Cider Vinegar?  :)

Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089  I still love pickles, but no thanks to drinking the juice.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD  Sprinkled on salad greens sounds good!  I don't think he gave his tooth enamel any thought, to be honest. LOL
