Starting 2021 with "Sharing The Love" challenge offers lots of options. I’m writing my third post for the February Challenge hosted by Rocky Dickerson and Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist, utilizing Rocky’s “Bucket Filling” idea. I love the tradition he continues from his former office in San Diego. Closing their meeting with bucket time is ingenious. Complimenting or acknowledging someone in the office is what helps fosters a culture of awesomeness. He is right you never know how that positive thought may make someone’s week go entirely different.
Trying to decide on 7 Active Rain members I admire is difficult because there are so many to write about, but here goes:
Chris Ann Cleland – After coming from success in the newspaper and radio industry Chris Ann became a Realtor® in 2005. Climbing her way through a downturn she proved she has what it takes. She earns the title of a "Trusted Advisor" by her unrelenting commitment to customer service. Each blog Chris Ann writes I see her professionalism and determination to always put her client’s interest first. She is who I’d want my clients to use if they are relocating to Bristow, VA.
Debe Maxwell, CRS – Debe is a 5-star Realtor who ranks in the top 1% of the 15,000 agents serving the Metro Charlotte area. She is known for her white glove service, high list-to-sell ratios, low days on market and expert negotiating skills. How she maintains this top flight business and still has time to host Active Rain Contests, spend time with her family, friends, renovate a new house at the lake and spear head hosting Tuesday Zoom meetings, is beyond me! This is one amazing lady who also finds time to reach out to you if she knows you might need a caring touch.
Michael Jacobs - Michael is a native California and has resided in the Pasadena area since 1990 giving him the right to become an Industry Observer. I refer to Michael as the “King of Pondering.” His analytic observations are carefully crafted, poignant and always give us pause to ponder and reflect. When he takes a hiatus from posting he is sorely missed.
Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD – Their names are synonymous with nature, beautiful surroundings and peaceful environments. The passion they share with their clients of the ultimate luxury of privacy in a home comes through loud and clear in their posts. Specialization in multi-generational living is so timely and their personal experience and ability to articulate why it is so important proves to be a key to their success. The videos they produce are brilliant productions and they share their knowledge and expertise so freely with all of us. What an impact they make in Active Rain every week.
Kat Palmiotti – “The House Kat” is loved and admired by all. Picking up and moving across country, building a home and living their dream is admirable! She is a wealth of knowledge, has become an expert in building and her experimenting with videos is enviable. She extends herself to so many people and definitely makes them feel welcome here in the Rain.
Brian England – Brian has lived in Arizona for over 40 years and has an extensive knowledge of the area. He lives in the Val Vista Baseline Area in Mesa, AZ and educates us on how wonderful it is to live there with affordable homes and its location, ideal for everyday living. He covers the East Valley AZ real estate and I’ve seen his business grow blogging in AR. His post’s featuring the photography his friend, Trisha Bush-LeFore produces is amazing. Brian contributes much to the culture of Active Rain and I know I would gladly refer a client to him.
Margaret Rome Baltimore 410-530-2400 – Margaret found her niche in Real Estate in 1990 and we are all benefactors of her contributions to our industry. Her successful book “Real Estate the Rome Way” and her popular Radio Show has shown us all how ingenious thinking outside the box can lead to a very lucrative and successful career. More importantly this caring lady shares her knowledge, advice and time with not only her clients but her friends here in AR. She is truly a lady making a huge impact in our industry.
