Let’s talk “marketing!” All listing agents are “marketing agents,” and when they don’t realize that fact, they become buyer agents! Learn to market. It’s a learned skill!!
Whether a buyer agent or a listing agent, making the phone ring is the ultimate goal. I was always a listing agent. I’m now fully retired and loving it, but I also enjoy adding my “two cents” to the conversation.
My daughter, Tammy, runs with the business now. Her focus is online marketing, but she continues to participate in offline marketing in the form of “print.”
There’s a mailing and a full-page newspaper marketing piece provided every month. Yes, I use the word “provided” because I define what we do as a contribution to those who live in our marketplace.
We’re adding a service to those who live in our community. Our service is based on Experience, Education and Dedication. Trite? Maybe, but it’s true, and the magnitude of business reflects it.
Hone those marketing skills and “provide” them consistently. Whatever your marketing plan consists of, provide it consistently. You’ll be glad you did!!
