Novant Health Breaks Ground For The Ballantyne Medical Center
Novant Health broke ground on February 25th for its new 38-acre Ballantyne Medical Center campus, which will include a hospital and a 56,000-square-foot medical office building. The Center's services will include emergency care, inpatient care, women’s care (including birthing suites), expanded diagnostic services, and surgical services. The $180 million investment will bring acute care resources to the Ballantyne area in south Charlotte at a 168,000-square-foot state-of-the-art medical facility planned to open in 2023.
The Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center will also include walking trails and space for community events.
The Ballantyne Medical Center is located at 10725 Providence Road West, just off of Johnston Road (previously the location of the Hall Family Farm).
Novant Health's press release included the following statement:

We’re thrilled to see our vision for a community-focused hospital that delivers safe, quality care in a welcoming environment come to life.”
The new Ballantyne Medical Center will definitely enhance the quality of life in the Ballantyne area, as well as increase access to it's already excellent medical services, which include numerous urgent care centers in the immediate Ballantyne area.
