YouTube Thursdays - Neighborhood Video Examples
We have postponed our neighborhood on-camera shoot for several reasons. The big one, we are waiting for Spring's beauty to fully kick in. It's optimal to highlight our beautiful area during the period when it really shines. Plus, we'd like to include our new little sidekick for Finnegan, since both will be featured in most of our future videos. Forrest will join us around the third week in April. Therefore, we think May will be the right month to ramp up our video production.
In the meantime, we'll be featuring some good examples of neighborhood videos to stir your creativity. Francine, who lives in Olympia, Washington, about a two hour drive north of us, always does a great job with her on-camera standups. She's really comfortable in front of a camera. We particularily appreciate her teaser at the end promoting another video with "juicy" gossip.
The other aspect we really like in this video is her inclusion of nearby points of interest. If you're trying to build credibility at a local expert, it's important to know your stuff.
Next week, we'll head to Colorado to feature another Active Rain videographer of note.
Remember, you are welcome to share your own YouTube Channel in the comments below. And, it's always good form to return the favor when someone visits your channel and subscribes, likes a video, and/or leaves a comment.
