Mismatched Shoes
I admit it’s not an issue for me on most occasions. Thankfully.
But let’s look at situations where a mismatch might be more common. It definitely happens in real estate and in real life. A connection that might be “just fine” under different circumstances results in a mix up of sorts. For all sorts of reasons. We’re not on the same page.
We may try hard to make things work. But hard as we may try, it won’t fit. Or maybe the two styles don't work together. Back to our shoe example, there's nothing wrong with wingtips but let’s be honest, you’re bound to get some odd looks if you wear one on the left foot with a high heel on the right. And the difference need not be that noticeable. Back to the shoe department(so to speak) and it's Penny Loafers versus one with a Tassel. A bit more subtle but definitely not the right match.
It’s time to take a pause and feel what you know is the right fit for you and trust that feeling.
