Kitchen counters and painting bathrooms

It's been awhile since I posted over here. It's been a busy few months. I finally got new counters for our kitchen and kids' bathroom.

We took the kids' bathroom from one sink to two. We used a remnant piece from our kitchen for the kids' bath. I knew we needed two sinks for the kids especially as they get older.

I need to paint the vanity in the kids' bathroom and paint their walls too. That room has not been touched since we moved into this house 4 years ago.

I know the vanity will go dark (maybe Hale Navy) and the walls will go white. I think I am leaning towards painting the walls Swiss Coffee by Behr. I love Behr paint and I talk about Swiss Coffee more in this post.

I think I am trying to keep busy with the bathroom to keep my mind off of the kitchen. I love my kitchen counters but the installation was done poorly. I really hope the company fixes their mistake but I am currently not very happy with how things look in my kitchen at the moment.

I went with quartzite counters. They really are pretty. It's been a few years since I was in the market for new kitchen counters.

Alot has changed over the years. I did a blog post on what I learned these past few months looking for new counters.

I really thought I was going to get quartz counters but changed my mind once I saw some of the quartzites. I eneded up getting a white quartzite and it looks so good in my kitchen.

It's definately what my kitchen needed.

While I felt overwhelmed with the amount of slabs of stone and quartz I saw these past few weeks, it was fun at the same time.

Here's hoping though I do not have to start over with new counters if I can't get my current ones fixed properly!
