Mobile vs. Text Message Mobile

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Advantage Plus

The introduction of many mobile products to access area listing has been a great addition for agents but are they forgetting about the consumer.  The percentage of people with an unlimited internet data plan is very small.  The TMLS(text message listing system) allows 99% of cell phone users to access to the listings.  TMLS is curently available for all of the Minneapolis Metro. Just text the house number and the first 3 of the street address and seconds later the listing info is delivered to the users cell phone.  <p>Brokers and agents can increase their web traffic by licensing the service.  Users can enter their phone number into a subscribed broker/agent site to see their texting history.

It is interesting.  One of the things I am noticing is that most buyers aren't as tech savvy as the products they are offered...

I actually tried this a couple of weeks ago.  I saw a house and wanted to know how much it was while I was driving.  I really enjoyed it because I was thinking how I could use this in my business.  The service sent me information about the house, a picture, and the listing agent even called to follow up.
