WHAT THE SELLER LOVES

When we found our home at 14312 Morton Hall Rd we instantly fell in love with the location and the backyard.  The backyard has a full privacy fence and pool.  The house is located right off the ICC and within walking distance to a path leading to a baseball field, playground, and community center.  We have met so many wonderful people walking in the neighborhood.  

What we love about our home is spending time in each room with our kids.  We eat dinner in the eat-in kitchen and turned the dining room into their craft and sitting area.  We use the downstairs room as a gym, home office, and playroom.  We spend so much time outside floating in the pool during the summer (especially since it is heated now too!) and we are so glad we got it completely renovated.  We spend time grilling and eating in the backyard and enjoying a fire in the fire pit in the side yard.   We love watching the local wildlife run through our yard (including many deer) and looking across the street at the woods.   

 

WONDERFUL NEIGHBORHOOD IN SILVER SPRING

In our neighborhood we enjoy walking in the woods across the street, walking 1/2 mile to the Henson trail which leads to the baseball field, playground and community center (less than one mile) and eventually connects to the Rock Creek trail, and the friendly neighbors. This past year we had our first fall festival that was a huge hit!

In Silver Spring we have a new community center and library 10 minutes down the street with a new wonderful playground in addition to the one that is within walking distance.

Some of the things we love about living in Silver Spring are the easy access to the ICC, red line metro station, bike paths, and the short commutes to Bethesda and DC.  Some of our favorite restaurants in the area are Azucar, Big Greek Cafe, and the short drive to all the restaurants at the Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg (Coastal Flats) and Olney (Cava Mezze). The grocery stores we use are the Cloverly Safeway, Aldi, Olney Giant, and Wheaton Costco.

We moved to Montgomery County for work due to its easy access to DC.  We love being right off the ICC because we can easily access Gaithersburg, Baltimore, and we are equidistant from each of the three major airports in the area.  

We also like being so close to Plaza del Mercado with Aldi, LA Fitness, Starbucks, a local bakery, Smoothie King, etc.  Montgomery County also has numerous Nature Centers and we are so close to Brookside Gardens (butterfly exhibit, walk through Christmas light exhibit, and programming) and Wheaton Regional Park (park, carousel, train).
