Are you grilling green?

By
Real Estate Agent with Pam Winterbauer Real Estate

You can do your part tomorrow to save the environment by grilling "green."  If you want to be environmentally friendly, you'll need to forgo charcoal grilling and embrace gas or electric grilling to  reduce emissions.

If you have a charcoal grill, opt for natural lump charcoal, which contains fewer impurities.

And light the charcoal not with chemicals but with an electric charcoal lighter.

Using a gas or an electric grill is the best way to "grill green", but if you love the taste of smoked food, use natural lump charcoal.

Great tip! It's amazing how "going green" can affect every part of your life...even something so simple as grilling.

I already do Pam!  Thank you for sposting this.  Gas not only lets out less emmissions, it is quicker too!
