Cape Cod Weather - March 2021
If you're like me, you're wondering when to plant grass and plan outdoor projects and activities. So here is a calendar that tries to predict the weather for the rest of March on Cape Cod. I find that most of the media outlets in Boston and Providence have a hard time getting their predictions even close. So we'll see how this calendar holds up to the same scrutiny.
In general, my experience is that once you're over the bridges, the temperature changes, the clouds change, and the actual weather is different. And in Falmouth, we have even more differences. My opinion is that because we have Cape Cod Bay on the west, and Martha's Vineyard and the Gulf Stream on the south as well as the currents in the Sound, we get different wind and weather than most of the other Cape Cod towns.
I will say that if Falmouth gets a bad storm, most of the rest of The Cape will also be impacted. So use this calendar to plan with a little caution and a jaundiced eye. As for the temperatures, predictions are that we'll have average temps ranging from the low 40s to the high 40s.
We're almost in the yard work season. It won't be long after those temps that we'll be able to hit the beaches. Happy Planning.

FYI, there are 30 active listing in Falmouth MA this morning. 19 are listed for sale at under $1,000,000 and 11 are listed over $1,000,000. It is still a crazy real estate market here.
