Cape Cod Weather - March 2021
If you're like me you're ready to get outside and enjoy Cape Cod. Below is a calendar to help plan for the clear and the rainy days. As for the temperatures, supposedly we'll have a range from low 40s to high 40s. Of course I find that the media outlets in Boston and Providence are usually not correct.
In my opinion we have very different weather on the Cape, and especially in Falmouth, for a few reasons. In Falmouth there is Buzzard's Bay, Vineyard SOund, the Gulf Stream, and the currents in the sound that all affect the weather here. We'll often have different weather than the rest of The Cape. However, if Falmouth gets a bad storm, the rest of The Cape is usually impacted also.
For the rest of The Cape, there is the addition of Cape Cod Bay and the Atlantic Ocean Coastal breezes and affects. Those also have their own weather influences that aren't seen of felt in other parts of Cape Cod. When the outer parts of The Cape gets a storm, it is usually their storm, unless it is a Nor' Easter and then we all get a little ruffled.
So use the calendar below with a little caution. The predictors are often mistaken, at least a little. It won't be long before there are yard days, and beach days, and sunny warmth.
Happy Planning.
Note: the 11th is boxed because that is when this blog was posted.
Also, there are 30 properties actively for sale in Falmouth today. That is usually how many sales occur in Falmouth in a month. Nineteen of those are under $1,000,000, and eleven are over $1,000,000. It is still a crazy real estate market here!
