Proverbs 11:24-25
“One person gives freely. yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
You are a steward of the wealth that you have and the wealth that is coming to you! God has given you the ability to earn wealth and your ability is expanded with your giving. It's a natural promise in Kingdom Living with God. Your giving is promised by God to come back to you with increase! However, someone who withholds is said to come to poverty.
God is not asking you to empty your entire bank account. And God’s knows that for someone getting started even 10% may be a stretch. Yet stretching is how we grow and expand in any area and finances is one of the areas that most people could use an increase in. God’s way of increase is being generous, sharing, giving, and refreshing others. As you do that cheerfully, blessing the money that you give, you can with confidence know that it will come back to you in Gods own wonderful ways!
This for me was one of first promises of God I went for. In my financial struggles I started giving 10% of my income. I saw immediate flow of increase and for several months kept doing it. Then I had a tight time where I pulled back and finances got worse. I realized in that time that I had not trusted the promise, and then I once again started to give the full tithe to my local church and saw the immediate flow of increase come back. Since then I have not stopped giving and give much more then a tithe and my finances have followed with great increase and expansion as well!
LORD I KNOW I AM A GENEROUS PERSON WHO ENJOYS REFRESHING OTHERS, I KNOW YOU CALL ME TO GIVE FREELY AND I TRUST IN YOUR WORD THAT IT COMES BACK TO ME IN YOUR OWN WONDERFUL WAYS!
