I went to the mountains to look at a home

The home appeared on my feed at Sundown on Saturday.  It was a well kept manufactured home in the mountains on 1 acre of land.   It looked like something I wanted to see.  I contacted the other agent on Sunday and asked if it had offers.  Sadly it had one.   I contacted a friend who was vaccinated and told her about it.

So me and my friend and my dog got into the car and drove off to the mountains.  According to Google it was 31 minutes from my house.  Sounded nice.

I made the mistake of entering the gps to late to have cell phone coverage.  It thought it picked it up but it failed.  I looked at the Realtor instructions and I thought I knew where it was.   I had been to that area several years ago with a client.  I followed the Google directions.  It told me to turn onto Robie Creek Rd.  I drove on anyway but things were a bit different and the correct road was not marked.  So I followed my Google directions.

I was soon on a dirt road.  I went several miles into our gorgeous mountains.  Eventually we turned back and stopped to let the dog run at a pull our.

My friend I were a bit confused but decided to keep our eyes peeled for the correct road.   A few miles down the road towards Boise I stopped at a pull out.  I found a map on my phone.  The road was exactly where I thought it was.

Without much ado we found it.  It was now paved and there were some really nice homes in the develpment.  I mean huge stick built homes that looked to nice.  We drove 1.5 miles on the paved road.  I saw the home I showed many years ago.  Then I found the home.  It was really cute.  As a Realtor I should have taken inside pictures but I did took two pictures from the deck.

Both my friend and I wanted to buy the place.  Her to live in me for a retreat/air b and b.  The house was clean and newly refurbished.   I wish it was converted to real property so it was loanable.   There was a very expensive develpment surrounding it.   You could just buy it for the lot.  It was worth that much for sure.

Think about this view and realize that it is just 30 minutes from city center on paved roads.  This is what people think about when they think of Idaho.

I wonder if I had brought hubby if we would have made an offer.

We came back home feeling very refreshed.
