It is a blessing to love what you do, where you do it and genuinely enjoy the people you conduct business with. That was never more important than 2020 when the world ran into an invisible enemy and things changed overnight.
Today our Long & Foster Gainesville Office had it's awards ceremony. Our theme was a Drive-In Fosters Awards Show. Folks could pull up and watch on Zoom from their cell phones and get out to get their awards. Due to high winds, it had be mostly on Zoom with a pick up and photo opp after.
Not only did I acheive the Top Producing Individual Agent, selling slightly more than a team with five members, and being just below a team of three agents, I was recognized by our affiliates in title, mortgage and insurance. And the most important part to me was that they didn't just say my name. They had kind things to say. They like working with me as much I do with them! Thank goodness. I never want to be a Top Producer Diva.
I also took home an award for "Doing the Right Thing." It was for genuinely caring for people, knowing the ins and outs of the contract and keeping things ethical. That was a nice call out.
Now on to rinse and repeat it for 2021. I'm getting there, but have a lot of ground to cover and it's already April. Time flies.
