It's hard to imagine but we haven't attended a real Easter Service since 2019. I asked my husband if he remembered what did we actually do for Easter 2020???
Well, we were both sick in March and April of 2020. I had COVID19 in late March and he got it right after I started getting better and he was down and out for the whole month of April and halfway through May. So, as we look back and truly thank GOD for where he has brought us to this Easter, we are just so grateful, that we made it through and so have our closest friends and family. Our prayers go out to all those who were affected by COVID19 and all the losses that we have seen in the last 12 months.
We are truly living in a different environment and to some may even seem like a whole different world. This is something that we pray will hopefully be ending soon. We just never know when it will be our last day or night here on this side of the world, so try not to dwell on things that will make you upset or even make you mad.
Think about the good things, things that bring you joy and love. Remember, that Easter is really all about LOVE. John 3:16,17 - "For God so (greatly) loved and dearly prized the world, that HE (even) gave HIS (One and) only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him (as Savior) shall not perish, but have eternal life. For GOD did not send the Son into the world (that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world), but that the world might be saved through Him."
