Here are the Whatcom County numbers for March 2021 compared to March 2020 and 2019.
We can see that the number of new listings is down while the sale price and price per square foot are up on the residential side. The days on market are down, buyers need to be ready to act immediately in this hot market.
The condominium market is very similar to the residential market with extremely low inventory for the back log of buyers that have been making multiple offers to finally get under contract.
The vacant land market in Whatcom County is a little all over the place. We have more new listings but less for sale than 2020. Sale prices are down but the number of active listings is still very low compared to the pending and sold lots.
