Obadiah 15
“As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.”
By now its not a secret and throughout scripture in a variety of ways its mentioned that you reap what you sow. When it comes to helping others you are never impoverished by doing so because the good you do comes back to you in its own wonderful way. Naturally most people don’t have unlimited funds to give, but do thoughtfully and prayerfully consider where to give to financially so that needs are met.
When it comes to your volunteering and serving efforts fill a gap where there is a lack of help from time to time until you discover what your heart for serving is and when you do find what you strongly purpose to do go for it. Meaning give extra time and energy to serving in those areas that meet your purpose. Doing something that God has put on your heart to help others is normally the most fulfilling way to serve and give back. And when you do that you will most often see some ease or flow in other areas in your life that were a little stagnant or unsettled in the past. That is because your deeds do return upon you in some form of goodness which helps lead to fullness of life.
Make less of your “doing” for worldly things and worldly ways and more of your “doing” for heavenly things and heavenly ways. Audit your time and see where its going to and this awareness will help you shift more of your time to kingdom living!
LORD I KNOW I HAVE THE TIME TO BLESS AND SERVE AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. HELP ME TO SEE WHERE I CAN REDIRECT THE ENERGY LOST ON WORLDLY LIVING TOWARD LIFE IN THE KINGDOM! AMEN
