Unlike most of the country, Hudson County NJ has not been a white hot seller's market throughout the pandemic. The weakened demand to be in New York City has trickled over to us across the river. Things are picking up, though. According to hudsonrivercondos.com market report, in March, condo inventory in both Hoboken and Jersey City was down and the pace of sales increased. The absorption rate was sharply lower in Jersey City and slightly lower in Hoboken. Condos in Jersey City even commanded 100% of the asking price on average.
So, although our market is not on fire. Things are certainly heating up!
