Welcome to news about hidden places in the Valley of the Sun in the Phoenix Arizona metro area. Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the US and also includes the larger metro area of Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Cave Creek, Carefree, Surprise, Fountain Hills, Paradise Valley, Ahwatukee and more wonderful cities and towns.
Yet, in this large city there are many little known or almost unknown places of beauty and wonder to the majority of local residents of the Phoenix metro. It is my endeavor here to let my readers know about these hidden places or hidden gems that you may have never heard about. See them for yourself.

Revolving Restaurant- Compass on 24th Floor Downtown Phoenix Hyatt Regency
OK OK, this hidden gem is not really hidden, after all it is in the middle of downtown Phoenix on the top 24th floor of the famous Hyatt Regency Hotel right in the convention center district surrounded by the Opera, Herberger Theater, Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondback stadium. The Compass Restaurant is in the middle of everything, but you would be surprised that Phoenix has this marvelous view restaurant that revolves while one is dining to see the entire Phoenix metro and Valley of the Sun. A wonderful place to impress someone or for special occasions.
