Well I started my vacation on Monday!! Yeah taking the family to Disney. On Sunday we tried to finish getting things prepared. Got the kids into bed early to get up early. And of course when the kids go to bed is when you can get all your work done! My husband's hair grows fast and he usually cuts his hair short. So while I was packing he was in the bathroom cutting his hair. He called me in to help him finish up which I usually do as well. Well when I walked into the bathroom and saw him I had to walk LAUGHING!!! You see he look like Jeff Turner only much darker!! I have NEVER seen my husband bald. I told him, wait till the kids wake up tom. When one of my sons woke up in the morning he asked his father what happen to you!! I just had to laugh.
I remember my dad doing that as a child and I ran the other way when he walked towards me. I didn't know who he was and mom just laughed!
The ride here was great. Had a little problem at one place and almost went back home. But things calmed down and we stood. Yesterday was a day of relaxing and driving around. We had dinner at Wonder Works Magic show. We got there early to sit up front. I am so glad we did. My daughter was picked to go up stage and my husband was picked to do something else in the audience. I was able to get a video of her but for him it was too fast, didn't get it out in time. She laughed so hard during the show it hurt!!!
From there we went to drive around for gas. You could not believe how much the gas prices were, $4.39, $4.57 was the average price. Last year when we needed to get gas we went to the gas station on Disney grounds. They had the cheapest then, so we went there again and guess what the price was $3.89. WOW no one was there. I think because they must think that it would be higher!! Its not people!!!!!
We went to Downtown Disney, and the kids got to pick something out of the Lego Store. They walked into the Playdough Store and I had to say NOOOOOOOO. I don't remember that one last year. Got back to the Hotel and they played with there legos for a little while, when they got into bed it only took them 5 minutes to fall a sleep. That was record time!!
Well today is MGM studios, I look forward to it!! Stay tune!!!
