8 homes sold in Lawson during the First Quarter 2021, two fewer than in the same quarter one year ago. Lawson had eight fewer listings for sale than in the same quarter one year ago. The overall lack of new listings was also reflected in the drop in average days on market, which were down 60 days to 2 days compared with the same quarter one year ago. As a result, home sellers received 104.6% of their asking price during the first quarter 2021. Every single home sold above 100% of list price, except one.
Median list and sale prices for Lawson homes increased in the 1st quarter 2020 versus 2019, as did average and median listing prices. Average sale price in the first quarter was $459,438. Median sale price was $435,750. Home sale prices ranged from a low of $325,000 to a high of $555,000.
At first quarter-end 2021, no homes were listed for sale in Lawson and four homes were under contract. For a community of some 600+ homes, inventory is razor-thin.
