Augusta, Ga. Economy

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Larry Miller

The economy has slowed tremendously as we all know, but he in Augusta we have been very fortunate. The economy has slowed down some, but we are still selling homes due to Ft. Gordon, a new addition to Plant Vogel, SRS site and retirees coming to the area from Florida and the northern states.

Our Real Estate prices, local weather and over all cost of living are not as expensive as other areas, plus we have great golfing, lakes, and other activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Take a look at Augusta, Ga. it is worth your time.

Tim,

Welcome to the rain and I've heard the same from some of my friends in North and South Carolina that people are staying farther north than Florida now as prices are good and the economy hasn't been hit as hard.

I think as things settle more and more places will end up being in the same situation as you, but the news will still only report the major cities. So keep up the posts and inform the public of the truth about your area!
